Your box is the first thing a customer touches. A few simple habits reduce damaged deliveries and returns, and make your shop easier to remember.
Use two or three standard sizes
Most shops can pack nearly every order in two or three box sizes. Buying them in bundles is cheaper, and packing gets faster.
Fill the gaps
A product that moves inside the box is more likely to break. Crumpled paper is cheap and works well.
Tape the bottom in an H
One strip along the middle seam and one across each end. Bottoms that open in transit are a common cause of lost items.
Add your name
A one-colour printed logo, or even a stamped mark on a kraft mailer, makes repeat orders more likely than a plain box.
